As much as we wouldn’t like to believe it, but at present the current criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine makes us look at the proverb “There is no such thing as a get-out-of-jail-free card” from another side, without joking. You don’t have to be a person with a criminal past or communicate with criminal bosses to face criminal problems. You can be an exemplary family person and a good human, but become a victim of the activities of business competitors or worse – companions, fraudsters and face ineffective law enforcement.
One way or another, many years of practice, including in the law enforcement system, has shown that in order to conduct searches, seizures, interrogations or other investigative actions, they can come to any citizen of Ukraine, regardless of status, rank and financial condition.
The help of a qualified lawyer is necessary for any stage of the criminal process. In contrast to other processes, such as civil, economic, the decision in criminal proceedings directly affect the further fate of the person.
Legal assistance in criminal cases is not only a speech in court, in the office of the investigator, the prosecutor, but also the preparation of procedural documents (petitions, complaints, statements, requests). First of all, you should clearly understand that, if the law enforcement bodies are already interested in you, then they will not just let you go, and they will use any available means to achieve their goals.
The important thing is that the lawyers who are part of the association are not just familiar with criminal law and procedure, but in the past were investigators, that is, one of the main links in the law enforcement system and clearly understand the workings of the system from the inside.
